What participants have shared
"I had been avoiding looking at my EPF statement for years because I did not really understand what I was looking at. After Course 01, that changed. I still have a lot to learn, but at least I know what the numbers mean now. The audio lessons were helpful โ I listened on my morning walk."

"Course 02 was exactly what I needed before deciding where to put some money I had set aside. I had been getting a lot of advice from various people โ unit trust agents, friends โ and I could not tell what was actually sensible. The course helped me think through it properly, on my own terms."

"I liked that the content was honest about which investment products have limitations. Too many resources I had tried before felt like they were leading me toward something. Here, it felt like they genuinely just wanted me to understand. The one thing I found slow was the section on structured deposits โ a bit more depth would have helped."

"My wife and I did Course 03 together โ we studied independently and then compared notes during the advisory sessions. That worked very well for us. Ahmad Harith was patient and direct. He did not tell us what to do, but helped us think through our situation clearly. Worth every ringgit."

"I am a teacher. I thought I knew more about financial planning than I actually did. Course 02 showed me how little I really understood about the difference between the products I had been buying. I have since changed my approach. I feel better about where things stand."

"I enrolled in Course 01 because my daughter suggested it. She thought I needed to understand financial matters better before I retired in a few years. She was right. The printed booklet was a nice touch โ I keep it on my desk. I am now thinking about doing Course 03 as well."

"As a Muslim, I was particularly glad that the Shariah-compliant products were covered properly โ not as a footnote. The section on how to evaluate unit trusts against each other was the most useful thing I have learned in years. Very clear, very fair."
Zaharah A.

"The advisory sessions in Course 03 were the most valuable part for me. I had questions I had never been able to ask anyone because I did not know the right people. Having a proper conversation about our specific situation โ property, EPF, children still studying โ was something no book or seminar had offered me before."

"Course 01 took me by surprise โ I expected it to feel basic, but it was actually quite substantive. The way they explained the Malaysian financial institutions, why they exist and what they actually do, was something I had never encountered so clearly. My only note is that I wished there had been a few more practical exercises."

Case Studies
How some of our participants approached their programmes
Faridah, 50 โ Melaka
Completed Course 01 and Course 02
Starting Point
Faridah had a small amount of savings and an EPF account she had never fully understood. She had attended one financial seminar years before but found it confusing and product-focused. She came to us wanting a clearer picture โ not advice on what to buy.
Her Programme
She started with Course 01 to build her vocabulary and understanding of the Malaysian financial landscape. After a short break, she continued with Course 02 to understand her investment options before making any decisions.
What Changed
By the time she finished Course 02, Faridah could read her EPF statement with confidence, understood the difference between the Amanah Saham funds she had previously conflated, and had a clear framework for deciding which investment products made sense for her situation.
"I feel like I can have a proper conversation about money now. That sounds small but it was not small for me."
Peter, 55 โ Melaka
Completed Course 03
Starting Point
Peter and his wife were both in their mid-fifties, planning to retire within eight years. They had property, some unit trust holdings, and an EPF balance โ but no real picture of whether it would be enough or how to approach the next decade.
His Programme
He enrolled in Planning the Next Twenty-Five Years. The advisory sessions were particularly valuable โ he used them to model two different retirement scenarios and discuss the implications of each with Ahmad Harith.
What Changed
Peter left the programme with a written five-year financial plan, a clearer understanding of his EPF withdrawal options, and a list of documentation steps he needed to take โ wills, property nominations, and insurance review. He called it the most useful thing he had done in years.
"I went in thinking I was reasonably well prepared. I came out realising I had gaps I did not know about โ and now I know how to address them."
